:- 1.0 out of 5 stars from Debbie Young -- NO illustrations! : This review is for the paperback edition. - Why would you publish a Peter Rabbit book with no illustrations? Some of the comments on the page said there were no illustrations and some comments said there were beautiful illustrations. Which was true? Since the book was not expensive, I took a chance. Well, the book that arrived had no illustrations. And the pages of type were not even layed out professionally. Just words, words, words. It wasn't worth sending it back, so I kept it. I then went to a brick and mortar book store. I had to spend a lot more, but I could see with my own eyes that there were beautiful illustrations. ( Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2017 )

- 1.0 out of 5 stars from Tj Miranda -- Sound is primitive. Narrators are boring. : This is the worst audio book I’ve come across. The narration sounds like it was recorded on a 1980’s cassette player. There are multiple narrators and they all are very untalented. They make these lovely little stories a drag and a bore. No wonder so many other reviewers said they play this CD at bedtime. No one would want to stay awake to listen to this! ( Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2018 )

- 1.0 out of 5 stars from Leilani -- I'd be ashamed to give this to a child... one of the worst printed books I've ever come across. : It's a badly printed lacklustre excuse for a paperback, the cover is a pixelated nightmare and the margins and spacing is so awful it's impossible to read. I didn't expect much for the price but it still failed to meet any of my expectations. As there are no illustrations whatsoever (not even line illustrations) it's pretty useless as a book, I could have printed something better myself. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from ElProfesor -- Wonderful! : This book was bought primarily to assist teaching English to children. It is packed full of copies of Beatrix Potter illustrations most of which are next to the text. This helps any child to follow the 19 stories. Some of the language, however, is antiquated as one would expect. I bought an ex-library hardback version for just a couple of euros + postage. The book was in far better condition than I expected and just needed an airing. The book is a delight and more authentic than some other books using Potter's literature. I recommend it highly... even at far higher prices than I paid. ( Reviewed in Spain on April 30, 2015 )
